Main Outdoor Activities
Abseiling / Rock Climbing
Discover the thrill of both climbing a rock face and then strategically making your way back down. This activity can be operated at different levels to suit your group's needs. This is by far one of the most gratifying personal experiences one can have in the outdoors.
Air Rifle Shooting
Here's a different form of target shooting that they offer using a .22 air rifle. Under the expert guidance of tutors you can test your aim on a selection of targets.
Clay Pigeon Shooting
A professional, mobile clay pigeon shooting unit, complete with 12- and 20-bore shotguns, safety cages and experienced instructors. A range of different stand layouts can be supplied according to numbers and past experience. In all events, guests are individually taught the special skills required to break the flying clays before starting their competition round.
Falconry
Falconry demonstrations, plus hands-on experience. Using mainly Harris hawks, peregrines, eagle owls and other birds of prey. An exhilarating experience!
4x4 Jeeps
Visit their 4x4 off-road arena. The conditions can be seemingly impassable, but under the watchful eye of their team judge, drivers will be amazed at the capability of their Land Rovers.
Grass Karts
Put our specially built rally karts through their paces - believe us, they will take whatever you throw at them and then some more! This is serious fun.
Helicopter Rides
Enjoy the unforgettable experience of seeing well-known landmarks from a bird's eye view. Helicopters can be used as part of a Treasure Hunt or an outdoor event.
Hill Walking
Discover the hidden beauty of the country with their qualified guides, who will provide a fascinating historical and geographical commentary of the area. Outdoor Dynamics takes great care in choosing a route to suit your group's ability and needs.
Hovercraft
A motorised event with a difference! The hovercrafts are fast and safe, but steering your way around the course is akin to driving on ice!
Mountain Bikes
Try your hand at a quality range of bikes, with all safety equipment provided. This activity is often used to view the less accessible beauty spots of Ireland and can also be an integral part of a team-building programme.
Open Canoeing
This exciting activity can take place on rivers, lakes or canals. It is often used as a mode of transport in Team Challenges.
Orienteering
Orienteering has great appeal for everyone, young and old, active or inactive. It teaches aspects of map reading and compass work, together with the experience of finding your way around a lush, forested mountain. This is one of their most popular activities. To add to the excitement they also organise Treasure Hunts and Team Challenges based on this sport.
Quad Bikes
These highly manoeuverable, four-wheeled motorcycles are the perfect vehicles for negotiating our special obstacle course, which includes slalom, ramps, see-saw and even a limbo bar. The competition is based on both individual and team runs, with penalties awarded for mistakes made en route.
Target Archery
Despite its medieval origins, archery has now developed into a high-tech and highly competitive sport. Using the very latest equipment, guests are taught the skills required to 'strike gold' on the competition shoot.
